I charge £60 per hour, during which I can produce between ten to twelve thumbnail frames.

In most cases, keeping the frames at the thumbnail stage is the best choice for adverts and short films, as it is speedy and inexpensive.

A price estimate for a film requiring
60 thumbnail frames would be:

5 hours at £60 per hour = £300

Your thumbnails will have shading and minor
touch-ups added independently, and the finished storyboards will be sent to you by the end of the day (example below).

However, if you need your storyboards to blow your client/investors away, I can take our live thumbnails and independently finalise them into very high quality boards.
Finalising like this doubles the cost, as I spend equal time working on each frame independently as I spent drawing the initial thumbnails. Therefore I would recommend this for segments/short scenes only.

A good price estimate for a client requiring 60 highly detailed storyboard frames is:

5 hours thumbnailing (£300)
+
5 hours finalizing (£300)
=
Total: £600
